Its main goal is to foster the co-operation of key stakeholders to actively contribute to the advancement of knowledge, and provide support for the development and implementation of EU policies for research and innovation. In light of the above, the main objectives are:

• to participate in key initiatives across the entire research and innovation chain
• to support the implementation of specific research and innovation strategies to tackle global challenges
